Jean Adamson trained in Clinical Hypnosis at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and furthered her training to Practitioner level in Hypnotherapy at Twa Acres Hypnotherapy Training Centre in Dunfermline. She is a Registered Practitioner on the General Hypnotherapy Register and subscribes to the code of ethics and practice. She is also fully insured.
Jean studied for her BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. After completion of this degree she worked in social care with learning disabled people before moving into teaching within further education. As a Psychologist she taught at various Further Education Colleges in areas involving social skills, development and individual differences in people. Teaching in these areas enabled her to see the potential for Hypnotherapy as a 'cure' for many ails including stress relief and exam nerves.
Jean went onto
specialise in Child Forensics at Portsmouth University where she gained a Post-Graduate Diploma.
Then Jean gained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Alcohol and
Drug Studies at UWS. She has a particular interest in children and issues relating to children. She is also interested in non-verbal aspects of communication.
